“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” ― Albert Einstein
Our Mission:
The Roberts PTO serves as a liaison between the parents and teachers of Roberts Elementary with one mission in mind: to provide our children with the most positive and safe educational experience possible.
Our sole purpose is to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Roberts Elementary students by:
Our Goals:
Our Roberts PTO goals are set-up to complement the school with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate, and grow.
The Roberts PTO is a non-profit parent teacher organization whose membership includes all parents, legal guardians and staff at Roberts Elementary School. The PTO board is made up of volunteer parents that are voted into their positions by their peers. The PTO & Roberts community share in the decisions made for our students.
All PTO funds are raised by fundraisers that encourage community involvement, and are solely used to benefit our Roberts students. Whether they are used for direct classroom funding or school wide events the best interest of our Roberts’s students and families are always first and foremost.
The achievements of the Roberts PTO can be measured in the cooperative spirit with which parents and teachers work together to share their care and concern for our Roberts students. The PTO's success can be seen in the student's appreciation for their school, their teachers and the opportunities these give to them.
The key to keeping the Roberts PTO a successful organization is the involvement of the entire school community. Your time and energy are the only limitations to the extent that you would like to be involved.
Our Values:
Collaboration: We work in partnership with our school board, principal, teachers, parents and students to accomplish our agreed-upon goals.
Commitment: We are dedicated to promoting children’s health, well-being, and educational success through strong and positive parent, family, and community involvement.
Accountability: We acknowledge our obligations and deliver on our promises to the best of our ability.
Respect: We value our colleagues and ourselves. We acknowledge that we are role models for our children and other students; therefore we strive to conduct ourselves in a positive, kind manner and always appreciate the same in return.
Inclusive: We invite the stranger and welcome the newcomer. We value and seek input from as wide a spectrum of viewpoints and experiences as possible.
Integrity: We act consistently with our beliefs. When we err, we acknowledge the mistake and seek to make amends as soon as possible.
